A gentle transition back into charter mode
It’s been a few days since I’ve updated our blog but for a change, it hasn’t been because we’ve been immersed in boat projects. On the contrary, Rebecca and I are presently out sailing with One Love’s owner Michael, his friend Julie and her son Zagan.
Our guests arrived on the 15th with boxes and boxes of goodies for us (charter and boat stuff mostly, but it’s still fun to get new stuff). After a couple of stops in the USVI, the five of us made our way to the BVI yesterday. The temperature has been warm and the winds have been brisk, perfect weather for sailing.
Rebecca snapped these two pics. Everyone loves turtles!
We’ll be cruising the BVI for the next week or so, showing our friends some of our favorite spots. This is a perfect transition into what we know is going to be a super busy charter season.
I had seen on AIS that you were getting about and wondered what you were up to. Enjoy yourselves!
Nice turtle pictures too.
Cheers. 🙂
Mike
Thanks, Mike. We love those turtles!
Very nice photo’s! First time to post here, been following and enjoying your journey for a long time. Glad you decided to continue posting! I’ve been a frequent visitor to the USVI/BVI since the early 80’s and got serious about sailing only 5 years ago. Stories like yours have really motivated me! Just finished my first ocean passage from Annapolis to the Bahamas….I’m hooked bad! Not sure if you read TTOL, but if you do I’m BEERMAN over there. Zero To Cruising is truly one of my favorite distractions! By the way, you guys were awesome on a Distant Shore’s episode I just watched. Fairwinds!
Hi Rick/Beerman!
Thanks for the nice comment. You know, we still haven’t seen the distant shores episode that you’re referring to. I really need to watch that!!! 🙂
Lovely photos, thanks for sharing.

Thanks, guys!
