A new chapter
November 1st in our neighborhood was a beautiful, sunny day. In spite of last night’s Halloween festivities, we woke up today with clear heads. And what better way to spend such a nice day than to change the gear oil on an engine! I was a little concerned about what I think may have been some water in the gear case of our starboard engine so I thought it might be prudent to once again drain it and fill it with some nice clean oil, just for good measure.
The guys who were to shrink wrap Katana got a start on Saturday, as evidenced by the framework in the photo below. The weather didn’t cooperate for them though and it didn’t get completed.
One cool thing about our marina is that we can view our boat remotely via webcam. I “just” checked it and the shrink wrapping has been completed! Good job guys!
That is Katana’s stern in the upper-left corner.
