A productive day?
Plenty happened today. First, and most importantly, Katana’s current owners emailed us back and have not only agreed to the terms of the sale but also agreed to help us deliver the boat from Oakville, where she is lying now, to Kingston! This will be very helpful for us and we are extremely grateful for the help!
We faxed in an application to the Marina mentioned below. I also obtained a quotation for insurance. I played a bit of telephone tag with the surveyor but Anthony, Katana’s owner is going to contact him to make arrangements for the survey.
We dropped in to West Marine to check on a few things:
- Is the GPS unit we ordered in yet? No
- Are the charts of the Kingston area that we ordered in yet? No
- Have they scheduled the Marine Radio Course that we signed up for? No
That wasn’t too productive, but hopefully some of that will get sorted out later this week.
We sent out an email to our clients today informing them that they will be stuck with us for another year. The observant readers who have been following along will notice that we have changed the Countdown Timer (right hand side bar). Yes, we have delayed our departure, but we are going to have a LOT of fun getting ready for our adventure!
