Balancing
We had to balance out all this fun with a “bit” of work. We took advantage of the calm before the storm (that we are now experiencing) to climb the mast and check our rigging and also to scrub our boats bottom.

Gaviota Bay. That’s Sea Yawl Later in front of us.

Masthead.
The bottom was in pretty good shape but there was some grass like this
on the rudder edge and parts of the keels.
Rebecca getting ready to head back in the water. Cleaning the boat’s bottom was a team effort.
Cool pictures! Do I see a pattern on this boat….Rebecca does all the work!!!
Negative. It is 50/50.
Rebecca, you have got guts!! Hans tried to hoist me up the mast in a bosuns chair and as soon as I was above the boom I made him bring me back down. I was hoping very much that my fear of heights would go away. Yea right!
We fight over who gets to go up because we both like it. This was Rebecca’s turn. 🙂
