Better late than never.
Well, when I wrote yesterday that I would have the waterfall video uploaded in a few moments, what I really should have said was that I would have it online in 1300 minutes! Just moments before the video upload was to be completed, using the nice fast Wi-Fi connection at McDonald’s, the battery in my laptop died. 🙁 I also wasn’t smart enough to use a browser that could resume the upload, which meant that I had to do the entire thing over again, only this time, with a slow connection accessed from our boat.
Anyway, here it is. If you’re going to spend the time to watch it, you might as well select HD quality. Perhaps if you do, you’ll be able to imagine yourself swimming there this morning.
While the video was busy uploading, I also took a bit of time to update the FAQ page on our blog. Check it out if you’re curious.
Love the Go Pro for shots like this…..The last time I was in a waterfall like this was with Brook Shields…….
hehe
That Go Pro is great! Phenominal quality!
Glad you guys are having such great fun.
Really enjoy your pictures and commentary.
Be well.

Hi guys
Thanks for the comment. Yes, the GoPro does record with amazing quality, especially at 1080P.
I have always found that the water off hill streams is bitterly cold. Is it still cold there or is it fairly warm?
Mike
Compared to the air temp. it was chilly but not so much that you wouldn’t want to go swimming. It was quite refreshing.
I much prefer the snap, crackle, pop of your GoPro under the waterfall at Martinique this morning than from my cereal here at home!
That was loud, wasn’t i? I actually toned down the audio in the video.
Wow, as I sit in my turtle neck sweater, sipping hot tea tonight, that was a refreshing shot of tropical bikini climate, mossy green fauna and summer gush of waterfall, with great audio and excellent visual resolution. Thanks for that. It’s awesome traveling with you guys. 🙂
Thanks Belinda. It’s nice having you along.
By the way, I just briefly visited your blog and it looks nice. Others in the planning stages may enjoy it too.

Thanks so much, Mike! Our newly acquired boat should be headed cross country via truck to us by the middle of this month, and we can’t wait to dip her keel in pacific waters! Thanks for the continued inspiration!
How exciting!!!
