Bow roller

As I mentioned here a couple of days ago, we will need to modify our boat’s bow roller to accommodate our new Rocna anchor. The Rocna website has an entire page describing how to fashion the perfect bow roller for their product. While visiting Pride Marine this morning for one of our normal killing-time-while-the-clothes-are-in-the-dryer-at-the-laundromat-window-shopping excursions, we were give the name of a local company which can produce custom fabricated metal work, and whose staff have experience making bow rollers for other sailors. So, off we went to see them. I was told by them to cut out a cardboard or wooden replica of what I would like them to make. Not a bad idea.
