Constrictor knot
One of my favorite knots these days is the constrictor knot. Like a clove hitch on steroids, we use it to secure our Rocna anchor to the bow roller and to bind groups of items securely together. I even tried to talk Rebecca into using it to tie up her pony tail. She did not go for that one, as evidenced by the displeased look on her face in the following pic.
She’s have been even less pleased if you had tied the knot in her hair!
No doubt!
A constrictor’s also a good knot with which to start a whipping or a seizing. That may make for even less of a smile ….
