Keeping current
I try very hard to update this blog daily with something relevant or interesting (at least interesting to me). One thing I don’t keep quite as current are the supplementary pages on this site. Trying to do better, today I took a stab at rewriting the Fitness page to make it a bit more current. To go along with that, here is the video that Rebecca posted on her blog yesterday. You’ll need to go to her post to read the details for that killer workout though. While you’re there, why not give her some Love (comments)? 🙂
Rebecca,
You are my inspiration for getting into better shape!
We are still looking for our boat. If you hear of a sailboat for under $100,000 please contact us at zeeisme1 at gmail dot com. We are leaning right now towards a monohull w deep cockpit because we can’t find a cat for that price.
Thanks guys!
It is always nice to hear that I am inspiring someone! I put health and fitness as a huge priority in my life and I like to see and hear about others making an effort to do the same.
Good luck with boat finding. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open if we hear of any that are coming up for sale!
How about this one:

Just saw the listing.
You could probably get it for 100k.
Hey Mike,
I would love to hear about the mundane aspects of a day in the life of a full time cruiser. As I make my plans to get to that stage I find interest in just day to day living, ie,.. Normal routines , getting up, going to bed, and filling in all those downtimes that we take for granted with tv and close by family. Making meals, staying safe, keeping in touch w family. Just a thought, plus it would help my wife who still isn’t 100% sold on the idea.
Love what ya do!
MK
Thanks Mike. I find it hard to write about mundane stuff, Mike. To tell the truth, the things that you’re asking about are not much different here than the stuff that happens on land.
If she’s not sold perhaps a charter for a couple of weeks would help, or a week-long sailing course like we took when we first started out.
Mike,
Tell your friends Zee and Lee if they want a great blue water sail boat there is an Endeavor that has been completely remodeled and has a great layout (43′). It is very reasonable because it has basically no navigational or electronic package so the new owner can get exactly what they want. Some friends of ours have been restoring this boat and we are very impressed with it. If they are interested at all, I can provide more information. Kathi
Kathi and John know boats!
