Step back and remember what’s important!

Our friend Miles once told me that his boat to-do list is never less than two pages long. Our to-do list is presently only one page long but if we put in even a tiny bit more effort, I’m sure it could be extended, considerably. As fast as items get ticked off, new ones are recorded.

Since we arrived on the dock at Port Louis Marina we have had our new battery monitor installed, had our topsides polished, replaced our starter batteries, and a dozen other things. We have a lot more to do though and I’ll admit, at least for me, sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming. It’s important to step back from time to time to remember what’s really important.
