We got shot yesterday!

Yes, I’ll admit it, I was sold by the TV commercials. You know the ones where some poor traveller gets Hepatitis from an ice cube. It was for this reason that Rebecca and I visited the health center yesterday to get the first of 3 Twinrix needles to protect us against Hep A&B. To be honest, I am not a big advocate of vaccinations. Perhaps it’s not smart but I never get the flue shot and have never taken strange-sounding medicines before any of the multiple trips I have made to the Caribbean, Central and South America. This time we decided to be safe rather than sorry.
